Google and YouTube channel connections

When you connect a YouTube channel, you sign in directly with Google. MuseOn does not receive your Google password. With your consent, we read the selected channel’s identity, video metadata, and daily YouTube Analytics reports (views, watch time, average view duration, and subscriber changes). We do not request video publishing or revenue permissions.

Before authorization, MuseOn identifies the workspace receiving access. Reports are available to the consenting creator and that workspace’s owners and administrators; authorized MuseOn support staff may access them only as necessary to support the feature. We use Google and YouTube data only to display these connected-channel features. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or credit decisions, feed it to AI features, or use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Necessary hosting and security providers process data only to operate and protect this service.

Channel and video details and Analytics reports are fetched on demand and are not stored in our database or shared with measurement tools. We store the channel identifier, workspace connection, and encrypted access and refresh tokens while connected. Disconnecting in MuseOn revokes the grant with Google and deletes its stored credentials and channel identifier immediately when the operation succeeds. If Google is unavailable, we show an error so you can retry. We check grants every three hours to detect revocation in Google Account settings, and remove invalid credentials; deletion is completed within 30 days of that revocation. Short-lived consent state expires after ten minutes; the creator’s access session expires after seven days and cannot access a disconnected grant. For deletion assistance, contact [email protected].

MuseOn’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Using our YouTube integration also means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service.
